Using Medication to Treat a Tick Bite
The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) recommends that every tick bite be treated due to the risk of infection.
There is no standard of care when it comes to treating tick bites or acute (early) Lyme infections. It is often very difficult to get your doctor to prescribe antibiotics and if they do they generally do not prescribe them for a long enough duration to eradicate the infections ticks carry.

If your physician will not treat your tick bite or early Lyme infection, consider using homeopathy or herbs.
