Lyme News: Petition Calling for a Congressional Investigation

February 2, 2017 by Tricia Leave a Comment

The Lyme community needs you to sign this petition!

Calling for a Congressional investigation of the CDC, IDSA and ALDF

There continues to be a great controversy involving the CDC, IDSA, and ALDF regarding the handling, diagnosing and treatment recommendations for Lyme disease. If you’d like to know more about this you can read my post What is Lyme and Why You Should Care. While the CDC claims over 300,000 people are affected by Lyme disease each year, they fail to acknowledge that the standards for diagnosing and treating Lyme disease have failed, causing an epidemic of chronically ill people.

β€œIn the fullness of time, the mainstream handling of chronic Lyme disease will be viewed as one of the most shameful episodes in the history of medicine because elements of academic medicine, elements of government and virtually the entire insurance industry have colluded to deny a disease.”
