Delicious Gluten Free Christmas Cookie Options

Christmastime is my favorite time of year to bake delectable treats. I really want to be able to make recipes for my family that everyone can enjoy. That means I must find recipes that are gluten-free and that don’t require refined sugar. I began my search online and then it dawned on me that I should share these great recipes with you.

Elana’s Pantry

One of my favorite websites for gluten-free recipes is Elana’s Pantry. Here, she shares delightful cookie recipes that will please the entire family.

Primal Palate

Primal Palate has a few cookies I’d like to try, like the Gingersnap Cookies and the Chocolate Peppermint No-Bake Macaroons.

Detoxinista

These almond flour Frosted Sugar Cookies from Detoxinista are the perfect substitution for traditional sugar cookies. I can’t wait to try them.

**RESULT – I made these cookies and while they’re simple to make they were very dry as I mixed them. I needed to add a little bit of water. Once they were baked and cooled I felt like they were a bit too oily. If you like coconut oil you might like these but I probably won’t make them again.

Grace Filled Healthy Homemaking

These Allergy-Friendly Christmas Cutout Cookies from Grace Filled Healthy Homemaking, look delicious too.

Gluten Free on a Shoestring

Check out these Spritz Butter Cookies by Gluten Free on a Shoestring.

I’m on a roll finding great recipes but I don’t really even eat cookies. I do feel it’s important to bake for those in my life who enjoy fresh baked goodies, I might share in a couple throughout the holidays, besides, nothing says Christmas like cookies baking in the oven. Do you bake cookies for Christmas? What are your favorite recipes?
