My Review on Infinity Jars and How I Used Them

April 2, 2017 by Tricia Leave a Comment

DISCLAIMER: Infinity Jars sent me free product in return for my honest review.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been using 3 bottles from Infinity Jars. They contacted me about reviewing their product and quite honestly, it was pretty easy to say yes. You see, I use jars every day for various things from my household cleaners to my face wash. I love using my Young Living essential oils and it’s very important to always use glass when making cleaners and DIY products.

Typically, I re-purpose herbal tincture bottles or the bottles from our homeopathic sprays. Those bottles are generally blue or amber. Infinity Jars are much darker.

Here are some things I learned from their website.

They block out visible light and are airtight and watertight. They can preserve dried goods for 6+ months (and for years in some cases!).

  • Ultraviolet Light Filtering Technology
  • Preserve & Rejuvenate Freshness
  • Light-proof With Airtight Seal

The Science Behind the Jars

Infinity Jars can actually slow down the decaying process of organic matter while maintaining the freshness of whatever you put inside. What sets Infinity Jars apart from all other jars is that it blocks out all harmful visible light rays while selectively ALLOWING infrared and UV-A rays. Read More Here.

When I unpacked the bottles I noticed they were a bit heavier than other bottles I had been using and I could tell these were good quality. They came with labels and a cleaning cloth.

How I used the Infinity Jars

I filled up the 200ml glass fine mist spray bottle with my Thieves Household Cleaner and placed a label on the bottle.

I used the 30ml glass fine mist spray bottle for my homemade hand sanitizer that I carry in my purse.

I mixed up my favorite face wash and placed that in that 50ml glass push pump bottle.

What I love about the bottles!

It might seem silly but I love the way these bottles feel, they have a nice weight to them and you can tell they’re high quality.  The pumps and sprays work great, they don’t get clogged up and quite honestly that would be my biggest concern about any bottles that I buy. I totally love knowing that ultraviolet rays aren’t going to ruin my essential oils and I absolutely love knowing that because the bottles are airtight the contents of the bottles won’t go bad.

What I don’t love about the bottles!

I can’t see through them so that makes if difficult to know how much is left in the bottle. I didn’t really like the labels that came with the bottles. They adhere really well but they aren’t very pretty. The bottle I placed in my shower, which contains my face wash, is starting to get a little damaged from the water, so next time I might use a different label or place a strip of packing tape over the label to keep it from getting wet.

Would I purchase these bottles?

Honestly, I will always recycle bottles but if I needed a specific size or type of bottle that I don’t currently have, I would probably purchase them from Infinity Jars. The last few times I browsed their website I noticed they have good sale prices however shipping can sometimes be a deterrent from buying bottles online. I didn’t like their labels but that wouldn’t prevent me from buying from them, I would just make my own.

I don’t like taking a chance on buying bottles that may not have the best sprays or pumps and these work so well it makes them a win for me.
